GODBOX High Performance Computers (HPC) Power LED Walls Stages and Studios

What is HPC

High Performance Computing in general terms refers to the practice of aggregating computing power in a way that delivers much higher performance than one could get out of a typical desktop computer or workstation.

Virtual Production System Architecture

GODBOX is a computing platform that takes the performance of real-time rendering engines such as Unity and Unreal Engine to new heights of performance and stability. GODBOX HPC solutions are for graphical rendering at an industrial scale, with frame accurate synchronization to all connected display systems. For example, when powering large LED virtual production stages, the GODBOX HPC solution takes advantage of spreading computation across multiple on-prem systems, that are all configured to act as one GODBOX HPC system. This is called a GODBOX cluster, and it enables real-time graphic engines to spread computation running, in frame rate synchronized parallel, across several systems to display real-time in-camera VFX on massive LED stages.

GODBOX can be employed to power synchronized graphical interactive experiences wherever graphic intensive computational power, low-latency, high-throughput performance is required, at scale. Current GODBOX installations include Universities, Media Production Studios, Broadcasters, VR / AR and game developers and public pervasive AR/VR spaces. What’s more, GODBOX is the only computing solution to be currently verified for real-time performance in visualisation, collaboration and virtual production by engine developers such as Unity.
